Alexey Prazdnichnykh,
Managing Director, Eurasia Competitiveness Institute (Belgium, Russia)
Alexey Prazdnichnykh is a Managing Director at the Eurasia Competitiveness Institute (ECI) not-for-profit think tank located in Brussels and Moscow, and has led several national and international multi-stakeholder research and policy initiatives. He coordinates the World Economic Forum Global Competitiveness Program in Russia. He is a Partner at Strategy Partners Group. He leads the Public Sector Practice and has par-ticipated in advisory engagements with a focus on com¬petitiveness, economic development, and public-sector productivity issues. For the last 10 years he has worked with sub-national regions, city and federal government organizations, international organizations, leading busi-ness associations, and private companies on regional development strategy, cluster & SME development; infrastructure; technology & innovation policy; and social-sector productivity. He is also a board member of OPORA Russia, the largest Russian business asso¬ciation, and co-founder and board member of the Global Federation of Competitiveness Councils, a new global network of leaders from competitiveness councils around the world. He holds a PhD in International Development from the Russian Academy of Public Administration and an MSc in Aerospace & Mechanical Engineering with high honors from the Bauman Technical University (in Moscow, Russia).
