Caspar Hobbs
CEO, Professional and Vocational Education, Pearson
Caspar Hobbs is the Chief Executive of Professional and Career Education at Pearson. He was born in the United Kingdom and brought up in East Africa.
He attended The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and is an alumnus of INSEAD Business School in France. After a career in the British Army where he left with the rank of Major, he founded The Mergermarket Group, a financial information company selling information and data to the world's largest banks, funds and corporations.
He sold this to Pearson in 2006. He served on the Board of IDC, a financial information and data business, and is on the Board of several charities and sporting bodies.
At Pearson he is responsible for all Professional and Vocational Education businesses.
He is based in London.
