David Sproul
Chief Executive, Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Regions
David was appointed Global Managing Director – Regions and elected as Senior Partner & CEO of Deloitte in the UK from 1 June 2011.
He was until his election the Managing Director for Tax in Europe, Middle East, Africa and the UK and a member of the UK Firm’s Executive and Board of Partners.
David was previously Managing Partner for Operations at Andersen in the UK until 2002 and has held various roles in Deloitte including leading Deloitte’s Consulting & Advisory business from 2002 to 2004 and being responsible for developing our Talent agenda in 2004 – 2006.
David Sproul has significant experience of working with clients across many business sectors including consumer business, business services, private equity and real estate providing both strategic, tax and transaction services in many geographies.
David launched the Deloitte Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship with London Business School in May 2011.
His interests outside work are travel, cycling, motor racing and family
