His passion for what he does and ability to achieve the extraordinary has been recognized in his selection as the winner of the ‘Top Billing – Entrepreneur of the Year 2007/8’ and winner of the Schwab Foundation ‘Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2008’ for South Africa. One of his most recent ventures to open in August 2009, is Kwalapa – an Organic Wholefoods Centre. Very much a realization of an expanding direction from ‘business with a social cause’ to, ‘sustainable business development’ he is building on the philosophy of ‘being the change you want to see’.
